Award Levels
FEC Facility Partners may apply for and receive annual recognition at one of four levels — Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze. Any FEC Facility Partner may apply for a Gold, Silver or Bronze Award. FEC Facility Partners may only apply for a Platinum Award if they have previously received a Gold Award. Starting in 2011, Facility Partners will only be able to receive one Bronze award, one Silver award and one Gold award in 2011 and future years. Facility Partners may receive any number of Platinum awards in 2011 and future years.
To qualify for an award, a Facility Partner must meet the eligibility requirements and complete the checklist of activities for a specific level.

There is a single checklist of mandatory activities for all four award levels. However, there are different requirements for each award level:
- Bronze: Complete all applicable General Mandatory Activities and all Lifecycle Mandatory Activities in one of three life-cycle phases
- Silver: Complete all applicable General Mandatory Activities and all Lifecycle Mandatory Activities in two of three life-cycle phases
- Platinum and Gold: Complete all applicable General Mandatory Activities and all Lifecycle Mandatory Activities in all three life-cycle phases

Each award level also requires a Facility Partner to complete a specified number of optional activities:
- Bronze: Complete three optional activities in any life-cycle phase(s)
- Silver: Complete six optional activities in any life-cycle phase(s)
- Gold: Complete nine optional activities in any life-cycle phase(s)
- Platinum: Complete three optional activities in any life-cycle phase(s)

Gold Level award applicants must complete two mentoring activities. Platinum award applicants must complete one mentoring activity. This fact sheet provides guidance for facilities interested in mentoring others.
